Midwest Sci-Fi Short Film Festival in the US is scheduled to screen Iranian film ‘Don’t Breathe’.

Directed by Milad Nasim-Sobhan, the film will represent Iran at the 2022 edition of the event.

The short film is the story of a man who sees smoke coming out of his mouth when he lets out his breath.

This makes him and people around him uncomfortable, bringing forth new challenges.

The cast of the short film are Ali Baqeri, Alireza Mehran, Ali Farzin, Vahid Khaksari and Amirali Alinaqi.

The Midwest Sci-Fi Short Film Festival “presents the best of independent, genre-based short films from the Midwest and around the world.”

“It is a one-of-a-kind event for fans of science fiction, fantasy, and horror who want to be introduced to new visual storytellers, styles, and cinema in the accessible and inviting format of short film,” according to an online submission platform.

The 10th edition of the festival has started on April as a physical-virtual event and will wrap up on August.
